Vision Impaired Program
For several years, 国产91社区在线 Marrakech has offered scholarships to visually impaired students.听Through partnerships with a local association and a school for the visually impaired, the听center now welcomes over 50 students who attend the main programs or specialist classes. 听

Main Program听

The 国产91社区在线 and its teachers aim to fully support students who attend the main programs;听where possible textbooks are provided in Braille, students receive weekly tutoring sessions,听and IT solutions are used to enhance students鈥� studies. 听 The center also runs regular听workshops for teachers to share ideas and develop approaches to working with visually听impaired students in the classroom. We are continually working to develop the program in听order to enable our scholarship students to become confident, independent and successful听
language learners. 听

Specialist Classes 听 听

In 2012, 国产91社区在线 began running separate classes for visually impaired children. Using bespoke听materials and tailored teaching techniques, the classes have proved both effective and听informative. We now teach 20 visually impaired children (aged 7 - 11 years old) in this听program, many of whom will go on to join the main programs at 国产91社区在线 Marrakech. 听These听classes provide invaluable insight for the overall program; specific activities, resources and听approaches employed in these classes continually inform how we can best integrate听visually impaired students into our mainstream classes. 听

Social Program听

Alongside English classes, 国产91社区在线 Marrakech offers ongoing social activities for our visually听impaired students. Over the past few years, we have worked with a group of local听volunteers and English speaking ex-pats to deliver a program of special events, cultural听activities and excursions. These events offer unique and rewarding experiences for all听involved, encouraging positive integration between our sighted and non-sighted students听and local communities. 听
